  2. I'm interested in applying, but unsure as to how I can pay!
    Private educational loans are available for those enrolled in the Masters program at Boston University. An Admissions Representative will be happy to make some suggestions for you and equip you with websites and phone numbers to contact regarding student loans.   3. I'm interested in applying. What is my next step?
    Students must complete a pre application interview with their Admissions Representative at 1.866.232.0232 Ext 3268. Qualified students will be asked to fill out an application over the telephone with their advisor. Further instructions will be given upon application.

  4. I have graduate credits. Can I transfer them?
    You can transfer up to 8 credits from a regionally accredited university. Credits being transferred must be a close match to those offered in the program, and cannot have been used to complete another degree program. An Admissions Representative can help review your transcript to see what courses you may transfer. To speak to an Admissions Representative call toll-free at 1.866.232.0232 Ext. 3268.

  5. What are the admission requirements? Am I required to take the GRE / GMAT?
    No, you are not required to write the GRE or GMAT. Students must have a bachelor's degree from a Regionally Accredited University and must meet minimum GPA requirements. To determine whether you meet the admissions requirements please contact your Admissions Representative at 1.866.232.0232 Ext. 3268.

  6. I'm not sure I'm qualified for the program. How can I confirm this?
    If you are unsure of your GPA or wish to make a case for special circumstances, please call an Admissions Representative.   7. Do you offer provisional acceptance for those who do not meet the requirements?
    Under certain circumstances, provisional acceptance may be granted for students who don't meet the admission requirements. After you have successfully completed a semester, you are then taken off the provision status and given regular admission. An Admissions Representative can review your specific circumstance and help you with the application process.   8. Can I use my GI Bill or VA Assistance to pay for this program?
    Yes, you can use your GI Bill or VA assistance to pay for your tuition. For more information about procedures, please speak to an Admissions Representative by calling toll-free 1.866.232.0232 Ext. 3268.

  9. How does online learning work?
    This program utilizes the highest level of distance learning technology available today. This stimulating online learning program is structured around four learning environments: Internet, home, small groups, and work.   10. My home computer is rather old. Will it be able to handle the course requirements?

  11. I'm very busy. Other traditional programs didn't take this into account, so how can I be sure I'll have time to complete my classes?
    This program is designed for the working professional who must keep up with the demands of work and home. Most students require 12-15 hours of study per week. It allows you to study on your own time. Your small group facilitator will help keep you on track. Students also find their small group is a tremendous source of support.

  12. What kind of assignments can I expect?
    The scope of assignments may vary from reading texts, completing written assignments, participating in discussions, analyzing video segments etc. The program's online learning portal is the center of the learning experience. It is here where you will access course information, communicate with your instructor and fellow learners, takes quizzes, posts assignments and view grades, all from the convenience of your home or office.

  13. Will I get a full refund if I drop the course?
    Tuition and fees are refunded if students complete a class adjustment form to drop the class prior to the start of the course or before the end of the first week of the course. Please note that this policy applies to the first week of the course, not the first week of the students' attendance.

    Note: Students are eligible for full refunds before a course begins and during its first week. No refunds are given after the first week given the short duration of the courses.

  14. What is the minimum passing grade for a course in the graduate program?
    Minimum passing grade for a course in the graduate program is C. Please remember that you must maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) in the nine course requirements to satisfy degree requirements, and be permitted to graduate.

  15. My employer reimburses for a certain portion of the tuition. Does Boston University offer any payment plans?
    Students being reimbursed partially or 100 percent can apply for the tuition deferment program. The program allows students to waive 75 percent of the tuition for the semester until the completion of the semester. In order to apply for the tuition deferment program students have to be registered at the University.
